The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service website the area regularly. The support issue developed for intervention activities a high influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help the servicing of all customers and improve use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
